Common questions

What hardware do I need for the kitchen display?

Any device with a browser — an old tablet, a TV with a connected laptop, or a dedicated monitor. No proprietary hardware required. Most restaurants use a €80–150 Android tablet mounted in the kitchen.

Does it work if the internet is slow?

ShopexHub uses real-time push updates, so a stable connection is needed. A standard home or business Wi-Fi connection is more than enough.

Can I have separate screens for different kitchen sections?

Yes. Open the kitchen display on multiple screens — all show the same order queue. Useful for larger kitchens with separate cooking stations.

Is the Order Status Screen for customers a separate device?

Yes — it runs in a browser on a separate screen at the pickup counter. When you mark an order ready on the KDS, it updates the status screen instantly.
